Retrospective Conversion Services |
Connecticut State LibraryDGI provides on-site cataloging services to the Connecticut State Library for a selection of its collections. The project includes copy and original cataloging, conversion of the existing card catalog to electronic format, and reclassification from the Dewey Decimal classification system to the Library of Congress Classification system. | Fairfield Museum and History CenterDGI provided retrospective conversion services to the library of the Fairfeld Museum and History Center. MARC records and holdings of the library's collection of 12,000 volumes were added to the consortial catalog of the Fairfield, CT area. In addition, name and subject headings were authorized and spine labels were produced. | Massachusetts Historical SocietyDGI supported the Society in upgrading their OCLC records, creating an authority file containing locally authorized subject headings, and preparing the records for migration to its new ILMS. The project also involved merging holdings from both OCLC and North American Imprints (NAIP) sources. | Peabody Essex MuseumDGI processed 12,000 titles for the Phillips Library of Peabody Essex Museum. This OCLC retrospective conversion project included addition of local subject headings and holdings statements. The library's records were then added to MassCat. |
